Let's face it, visiting France is as much about gastronomy as it is activity and adventure. Here's some excellent news.....VAT on restaurant meals in France is set to plummet from a whopping 19.6% to a miserly 5.5% on 01 July 2009.
Having worked up an extremely "bon appetit" after an active day in France's sunniest region it's good to know that dining out in the world's most gastronomically renowned country will be an even more tempting proposition
