Abel Fenwick

Bitten by the travel bug at an early age and enabled by budget airlines, Abel’s search for holiday adventures have taken her as far afield as Albania and the Westfjords of Iceland. An enthusiastic hiker who loves camping, during the rare occasions she is in the UK for more than a week, she can be found haunting the Lake District or the Yorkshire Moors.

Born and raised in the North East, Abel spent many summers in the Lake District with both her family and her school. These experiences spurred both a lifelong love of hiking and an equally long standing fear of caves, as well as wonderful memories of kayaking on a very flooded Lake Derwentwater. Far less claustrophobic experiences involve gazing up at the skies above the Aurora Zone and marvelling at the Northern Lights in Sweden and Norway.
