Craig Dunning

Growing up in Hartlepool, in the North East of England, Craig moved a short while up the road to Newcastle-upon-Tyne for University, where he completed an undergraduate degree in Journalism, Media and Culture. University kick-started his love of Marketing, as well as a desire to remain in the city of Newcastle.

Craig has been fortunate enough to go on some amazing family holidays as he grew up. Many of his summers were spent on family holidays in the sun, making friends and trying as many amazing activities as possible. Craig and his family also took many city breaks, visiting places like Madrid and New York City whilst he was a teenager.

Visiting the island of Gozo and experiencing the unique history, culture and food that the island has to offer is towards the top of his travel bucket list. As is going on a husky safari in Lapland and immersing himself in traditional Scandinavian culture.

Craig started working at Activities Abroad in February 2022 as a Marketing Assistant. Developing his marketing skills whilst working in an industry that he is passionate about have been his favourite aspects of the job and looking forward to helping more families discover amazing holidays.
